An action-based “dodge the obstacles” game, created for a game jam organized by Porto Graphics. It was a collaboration between me, Pedro Meleiro and José Castanheira, where the game jam theme was “twist”. In this game, the world itself is controlled by the player, rather than the characters themselves.
A time-attack 2D platformer game, created with Pedro Meleiro and Vítor de Carvalho. It was created at the Digital Games Design Summer School — a teaching collaboration between FEUP and UT Austin over the course of 3 weeks. The game later received a Honorable Mention for its retro aesthetic at the Portuguese conference Videojogos 2013 — “Arte em Jogo”.
GameLoading: Rise of the Indies is a docummentary about the culture of indie game development. After backing their 2nd Kickstarter campaign, I volunteered to help localising the movie to Portuguese.

Teslagrad is a 2D puzzle platformer game where the player uses electromagnetism to solve puzzles in an abandoned Tesla Tower. After finding the game in Steam Greenlight and reading their announcement for volunteer translators, I decided to help them with localising the game to Portuguese.
The game is available on Steam, PS3, PS4, Wii U and XBox One.
Overall, this was a great experience that allowed me to experience in first hand the complications of having a game in different languages — big game strings, having to come up with alternative translations without loss of meaning, among other things.
